In 1912 the brothers Antonio and Angelo Sozzi settled in the heart of Milan and started producing hand-made socks. The hosiery focused mainly on silk and lisle– a cotton thread with long and particularly thin and resistant fibres - products.
In 1939, when nylon products appeared and World War II broke out, the Sozzi brothers were confronted with a determining choice: industrialising their production or continue on their way of excellence. They naturally chose the path of excellence.
Gradually, the company used its creativity and experience to produce knitted ties. These last will quickly became a worldwide reference.
Since 1960, Antonio Sozzi’s son Franco has perpetuated the tradition of excellence.
