Since 1873, Moonstar has been manufacturing shoes in Kurume, Japan, that combine traditional craftsmanship with technical innovation. Each pair is carefully cut, sewn, and assembled by hand, then subjected to vulcanization ("ka-ryu"), a unique process that permanently fuses the rubber sole and canvas upper.
