Since 1973, Moonstar has been producing functional and minimalist shoes in Kurume, the tire and traditional footwear capital of Japan. Each pair is hand-cut and hand-sewn by skilled craftsmen using high-quality materials. Once fully assembled, the pairs of shoes are then vulcanized for over an hour in an oven. The vulcanization process, "ka-ryu" in Japanese, permanently bonds the rubber sole and cotton upper by exposing the pairs to high heat.

Since 1873, Moonstar has been manufacturing shoes in Kurume, Japan, that combine traditional craftsmanship with technical innovation. Each pair is carefully cut, sewn, and assembled by hand, then subjected to vulcanization ("ka-ryu"), a unique process that permanently fuses the rubber sole and canvas upper. This rare craftsmanship, passed down for over 150 years, guarantees sturdy, comfortable, and timeless shoes, true to the spirit of Made in Kurume.

- Delivery times : Your order will be delivered within 2 to 5 days in France and within 4 to 9 days internationally.
- Order outside European Union : Import duties and taxes are fully calculated and settled at checkout (DDP); no additional charges will be requested upon delivery.
