We are in 1889 when Mr. François Bayon a military tailor creates a woven belt that will change his life. His belt was a big innovation that became quickly a standard on the battlefield. Fresh from this success M. Bayon chose to adapt this military technology for the civilians.
Named after the son of Napoléon I, L’Aiglon woven belts became a huge success allover the world.

In 1889, military tailor François Bayon created a woven belt that would revolutionize his career. This innovative belt became a standard on the battlefield, and Bayon, a fervent Bonapartist, soon adapted the military technology for civilians. The L'Aiglon woven belts, named after Napoleon I's son, Napoleon II, became a worldwide success.
