Founded in 1904 in Newport Abbot, Invertere was born from the ingenuity of the Parkin brothers, inventors of the reversible coat: tweed on the outside and gabardine on the inside. Invertere, which means “to invert” in Latin, became the name of their company. Invertère has been making authentic duffle coats in England since the early 20th century. This superb "Devon" version is made from textured wool sourced from Joshua Ellis.
