Founded in 2017 by Taiga Takahashi, T.T revisits American garments from the 1920s to the 1950s through Japanese craftsmanship, preserving traditional techniques.

Inspired by mid-20th century American sportswear. The cotton is knitted in the round, with no side seams, on a Taishō-era (1912–1926) loopwheel machine in Wakayama, Japan. Produced at roughly one meter per hour, the fabric develops a subtly irregular texture. The Sakura colorway is achieved through a traditional Japanese dyeing technique using pigments extracted from cherry wood, applied piece by piece.
