Justo Gimeno for BEIGE
Undyed Virgin Wool Teba Jacket : Beige/Ecru
The first Teba Jacket was created on Savile Row for the need of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. As he was a hunter, this light and comfortable jacket was ideal for the practice of his favorite sport. The King offered, in act of generosity, this jacket to one of his friends and hunting partners, the Count of Teba, who rigorously wore it during all his excursions in the Spanish countryside. Since then, the jacket took the name of its new owner: Teba.
The Teba jacket is an iconic piece of the Spanish wardrobe, light and very comfortable, it is at a crossroad between a jacket and an overshirt. The Teba is both casual by its construction and formal by its Anglo-Saxons influences.
This Teba Jacket has been exclusively made for BEIGE with a beautiful virgin wool undyed fabric.

Justo Gimeno's history dates back to 1885 when Justo Gimeno Padrilla trained as a tailor in Argentina before returning to Spain and opening his first workshop in Zaragoza, where the family still operates today. Specializing in high-quality, British-inspired casual and hunting clothes, the iconic Teba Jacket is among their famous products.
The jacket's royal history dates back to King Alfonso XIII, who had it created on Savile Row for hunting. He particularly liked this light, comfortable jacket, ideal for hunting. It was then gifted to the Count of Teba, who wore it during his excursions, giving the jacket its name.
