A family business for five generations, Jamieson's specialises in wool from sheep in the Shetland Islands, between Scotland and Norway. Founded in the 1890s by Robert Jamieson, who bought knitted garments from local shepherds, the business has evolved over the generations. In 1978, the family began producing 100% Shetland wool garments, and in 1981, they opened Jamieson's Spinning, the only spinning mill to carry out the entire production process. Today, under the leadership of Peter and Garry Jamieson, the company continues to excel in producing high-quality Shetland wool garments.
