Founded in 2013 in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture, Batoner carries on the legacy of Japanese knitwear with exceptional craftsmanship. Originating from Okuyama Meriyasu, a renowned knitting workshop, the brand oversees the entire production process, from the selection of raw materials to the finished product. By combining traditional techniques with modern innovations, Batoner creates timeless and durable pieces designed to be passed down through generations.

This sweatshirt is slowly knitted on an old German knitting machine called JUMBERCA, creating a fluffy texture. The outer material is made of air-spun yarn, and although it is dense, it is both light and tough. The lining uses yarn that is soft on the skin, making it comfortable to wear. The hood part is double-layered, which prevents it from losing its shape and makes it easier to stand up.
