Founded in 1919 in Chicago, Big Yank is a reference in American workwear. After a long period of inactivity, the brand was revived under the direction of Japanese designer Kinji Teramoto, with all production now based in Japan. Authentic, durable, and timeless workwear.
A reinterpretation of a 1940s model, the 1942 chambray shirt features Big Yank’s signature details: triple-needle stitching, bar-tack reinforcements, “Elbow Action Sleeve” construction, and the iconic “Yama-Poke” pocket, literally “mountain pocket”, designed for better content retention and easier access.
