“ABIQUIU” Wool Twill Shirt : Navy
Cohérence draws inspiration for its creations from legendary artists and intellectuals who transcended borders through their talent and panache. The "ABIQUIU" model is directly inspired by a motif from a western shirt by painter Georgia O'Keeffe. Its name refers to a region in northern New Mexico, USA, where the artist spent the last years of her life—a place that deeply nourished her inspiration.
This superb western shirt is cut from an exclusive fabric developed by Cohérence: Rover Twill. This very dense twill is traditionally used for military clothing such as CPO shirts. Woven on an old shuttle loom to achieve high density without excess weight, it is then treated to give it a dry feel.
All Cohérence collections are entirely produced in Japan with an exceptional level of ready-to-wear manufacturing.
