Since 1873, Moonstar has been producing minimal and functional footwear in Kurume, Japan. Kurume first prospered through the rubber industry, manufacturing tires and jika-tabi shoes—rubber-soled work boots with a split toe. Each pair of Moonstar shoes is cut and sewn by hand. Once fully assembled, the next stage of the process is called “vulcanization,” or “ka-ryu” in Japanese. Moonstar often refers to its shoes as “shoes like pottery,” as each pair is fired like ceramics in an oven for one hour to fuse the sole with the upper.
This model revisits an iconic training shoe from the 1960s.

- Delivery times: Your order is delivered within 2 to 3 days in France, 3 to 5 days in the European Union, and 5 to 10 days in the rest of the world.
- Orders outside the European Union: Import duties and taxes are paid by the customer at delivery (DAP); additional fees may be requested by the carrier.
