Since 1873, Moonstar has been producing minimal and functional footwear in Kurume, Japan. Kurume first prospered through the rubber industry, manufacturing tires and jika-tabi shoes—rubber-soled work boots with a split toe. Each pair of Moonstar shoes is cut and sewn by hand. Once fully assembled, the next stage of the process is called “vulcanization,” or “ka-ryu” in Japanese. Moonstar often says “shoes like pottery,” because each pair is fired, like ceramics, in an oven for one hour to fuse the sole with the upper.
This model revisits an iconic training shoe from the 1960s.

- Delivery times : Your order will be delivered within 2 to 5 days in France and within 4 to 9 days internationally.
