Cotton & Hemp Engineer Trousers: Charcoal
Founded in 2017 by Taiga Takahashi, T.T reinterprets American pieces from the 1920s to the 1950s through the exacting standards of Japanese craftsmanship, preserving forgotten techniques in timeless creations.
These trousers are inspired by 18th-century work pants discovered in California. The fabric is a high-density satin woven from a blend of cotton and hemp. The cut features a deep rise and a generous leg from thigh to hem.

Founded in 2017 by Japanese designer Taiga Takahashi, T.T draws from archives of American garments from the 1920s to the 1950s to reinterpret clothing designed to last. Rooted in the excellence of Japanese craftsmanship such as natural dyeing by hand and weaving on vintage looms, the brand preserves fading techniques through timeless pieces, now carried forward by a studio faithful to the vision of the designer, who passed away in 2022. Conceived as a global project, T.T extends beyond clothing: in Kyoto, an art space brings together garments, architecture, and sculptures, forming the foundation of the brand's creations and an extension of its founder's philosophy.
