Founded in 2021 by Kazuma Shigematsu, A.PRESSE explores the memory of clothing. Pieces that don't copy the past, but rather extend its emotion. Between heritage and modernity, A.PRESSE recreates the emotion of clothing from the past through a Japanese interpretation of rare accuracy.
Inspired by a Type 3 trucker jacket, this piece combines a silk spun warp with a cotton weft. A tumbler wash treatment tames the silk's natural sheen while enhancing its softness.
