Since 2003, the Benedictine monks of the Monastère Sainte-Marie de la Garde, in South West France, have hand-crafted leather sandals with pure, timeless lines. Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather from the South West, a non-slip sole, and a rare output of around 1,500 pairs each year, paced by the rhythm of monastic life.
