Created in England under the name English Fashion Waterproof, the company became Valstar in 1911 after moving to Milan. As the first to make rainwear in Italy, the company offers quality products, the result of a clever blend of English tradition and Italian craftsmanship. Originally focused on waterproofs, the range expanded in 1935 to include a high-quality and simple jacket: the Valstarino, a future bestseller. Inspired by the US Air Force's A-1 flight jacket, the Valstarino became an iconic piece of Italian style, reinvented with hydrophobic leathers, British Millerain canvas, and English tweeds.
