Since 1873, Moonstar has been designing shoes in Kurume, the historic cradle of Japan's rubber industry, that combine craftsmanship with technical innovation. Each pair is cut, sewn, and assembled by hand, then subjected to vulcanization ("ka-ryu"), a traditional process that, under the effect of heat, permanently fuses the rubber sole and the canvas upper. The result: shoes that are robust, comfortable, and timeless.
