Cohérence outerwear is inspired by legendary artists and intellectuals who have transcended boundaries by their talent. The «JACKSON» jacket is designed after the painter Jackson Pollock. This outstanding jacket is cut in a in-house designed fabric. A beautiful chevron, featuring linen warp and cotton weft. This construction maintains the characteristic dry touch of linen while saving horizontal tension, resulting in reduced creasing and a beautifully preserved silhouette.

All Cohérence garments are entirely made in Japan with a very high level of craftsmanship and details rarely seen on ready-to-wear.

Shoulder width :
Measure between the shoulder seams measured across the back.

Back Lenght :
Measure from the centre back of the base of the collar to the hem.

Chest Circumference :
Lay the shirt buttons fastened and double the measurement across the chest between the lowest point of the arm seams.

Sleeve Lenght :
Combine the measurement from the centre of the collar to the shoulder seam and the measurement from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Cohérence's outerwear draws inspiration from legendary artists and intellectuals like Albert Camus, Le Corbusier, Marcel Duchamp, and Léonard Foujita, blending the best of the past with the latest technology.

Designer Kentaro Nakagomi's love for Surrealism, Jazz, and “Nouvelle Vague” cinema is reflected in the beautiful modern classics collection, crafted with a high level of Japanese craftsmanship. Cohérence's fabrics are developed in-house, including the "Tweed Chevron Jersey," made with rare knitting machines and a blend of four types of wool.

The collection showcases Japanese attention to detail, featuring real horn buttons, a lining motif designed after a Jean Cocteau’s shirt or very practical storm pockets. All overcoats are made entirely in Japan.
